Voluntary Evacuation For Parts Of St. Landry Parish

A voluntary evacuation is underway for parts of St. Landry Parish due to expected high water.  Krotz Springs, Millville, and Three Mile Lake residents are being asked to evacuate.  Residents are also being asked to secure their property, protect personal items, pack-up important documents they may need and to have a shelter plan.  St. Landry Parish officials say sandbags will be available under the Krotz Springs bridge at nine o'clock tomorrow morning.
