Walker Lights Up For The Holidays

WALKER, La. (AP) — Sidney Hutchinson Park in Walker will be the center of the Livingston Parish town's Christmas celebration beginning Saturday.

The Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/WEx2RT ) a 30-foot-Christmas tree will be illuminated with 1,600 feet of lights and is the centerpiece of the Walker Wonderland.

The park will be home to lights and animated displays throughout the Christmas season.

The lighted display is open from 6-9 p.m. daily and is free to the public.
