Suspect In Lafayette Shooting Arrested

Saturday around 5:00 PM, a man was standing near the intersection of Odile and West Alexander Streets in Lafayette when according to the police report, a group of people began running towards him and started shooting in his direction.

The man was not injured and police still don't know what caused the disturbance but they are investigating.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Dylan Woods of Lafayette for attempted second degree murder.

Police say they are continuing to gather evidence about the second suspect believed to be involved in the shooting.
