(KPEL) — Another person has been sentenced in connection with the “Dreamboard” online child pornography ring.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley says 63-year-old Robert Sprague of Ferndale, Wash. was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday. Finley says Sprague made 560 posts to the online bulletin board; those posts featured  hardcore child pornography.

Finley says Sprague has an extensive criminal history involving child pornography. Before becoming a Dreamboard member, Sprague was convicted of molesting a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. After that conviction, he was convicted on three separate occasions for possession of child pornography.

Sprague claimed at sentencing that he was “hardwired” to be sexually interested in young children and that he would continue to seek out child pornography when released from jail.
