Waste Schedule For Mardi Gras Week In Lafayette Parish

Parades will roll on Mardi Gras Day, but the garbage trucks won't in Lafayette Parish.

Tuesday through Friday customers will get their garbage and recycling service the day following their regularly scheduled collection day for the week of Mardi Gras. This means if you normally get your residential garbage or recycling collection from Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation on Tuesday, it will happen on Wednesday during Mardi Gras week. That will be the same for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday customers as well.

Monday customers will still get their normal collections during the week of Mardi Gras.

The Lafayette Consolidated Government Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Rd. will be closed on Mardi Gras day, and will re-open Wednesday, Feb. 13.
