Webb Street Home Invasion Lands One Suspect In Hospital – Two More In Jail

At 3:00pm today (Thursday) Lafayette City Police were called out to a home in the 100 block of Webb Street where the victim told police three men broke down his door and entered the home. The home owner was armed with a pistol and shot several shots at the suspects. The suspects fled but were later captured at a local hospital where one was being treated for a gun shot wound to the back. He is listed in stable condition. The two other suspects were taken into custody at the hospital and are now jailed. The victim was not injured in the incident. The motive for the home invasion remains under investigation.
