Westlake Bible Camp Teacher Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Charges

The 28-year-old Westlake Bible camp teacher accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty.

The attorney for Heather Daughdrill pleaded for his client, waiving her presence at her arraignment Monday.

Daughdrill allegedly had sex with the boy after picking him up from the camp without his parent's permission.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies say the pair met while she was teaching at the Bible camp. Daughdrill allegedly had multiple encounters with him between June and October 2011.
