Westside Elementary School in Scott was so severely damaged by the flood of 2016 it may take up to 2 years to repair. The Advertiser reports, the schools 465 students are currently attending N.P. Moss & Scott Middle, posing logistical difficulties for many parents, and students. Most of the campus was submerged under more than a foot of floodwater. A temporary campus has been proposed at a cost of about $1.3 million.
