It’s been a week since President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney squared off in Denver for the first in a series of presidential debates. Tonight the vice presidential candidates take the stage in what is anticipated to be an entertaining affair.
Generally more contentious than their often cordial presidential counterpart, the vice presidential debate has traditionally been an attack filled battleground in which both candidates go at one another without pulling punches or worrying about backlash. This year’s edition is expected to be particularly interesting considering the individuals involved, with the freewheeling incumbent Joe Biden going up against the fiery Republican Paul Ryan.
