What To See On Closing Day Of New Orleans’ Jazz Fest
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is wrapping up its last of seven days of music, food and culture.
The festival Sunday features nearly 60 musical acts performing on 10 stages, along with a stage specifically for children's entertainment and another featuring interviews with performers.
The festival is a celebration of Louisiana's rich musical, cultural and culinary heritage.
The seven days of music are strung out over two weekends. The first weekend was marred by rainy weather but warm temperatures and clear skies are expected Sunday.
Some of Sunday's highlights include rock musician Lenny Kravitz, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, The O'Jays and the Stooges Brass Band.
