Bernadette Lee and I were discussing this morning our wish list of items to check off in the unlikely event either one of us hit the Powerball jackpot, which is now up to a near-record $500 million.

Of course I would pay off the mortgage, possibly buy another house with more storage and square footage, send Colston to private school, and set aside enough money for him to go to the university of his choosing.

But aside from that, I'm not sure what else I would do.

I'm sure we've all contemplated leaving whatever job we happen to be doing, but as much as I despise waking up at 3 a.m., I actually to love my job. Some say they would spend their newfound fortune to travel the world and experience new things, but what happens after you've seen all there is to be seen?

One person on the show said he would repay his parents for all the things they've done for him, ensuring they live a comfortable life. At least one person suggested he would give it away.

What would you do with $500 million?
