What’s The Most Historically Significant Event Of Your Lifetime?
As we put another year in the rear view mirror, many of us reflect on the past year. In some cases we go much further back. The Pew Research Center Polled 2,000 Americans inquiring what they regard as the most historically significant event of their lifetime. Answers varied, not surprisingly, with the age of the respondent. The #1 response was the 9/11 terrorist attacks (76%), followed by the election of Barrack Obama (40%). My #1, the JFK assassination, came in at #4 (21%). It didn't even make the list with millennials. Baby boomers ranked it at #2. Click here for detailed results from People Press. What's your top ten?
