Broussard Sees New Rum Distillery Open

Two oil company landmen have a little hobby that has now sprouted into a side business.

The Rank Wildcat Spirits Distillery is the name of their new business and they are making a new rum called Sweet Crude. Cole Leblanc and David Meaux, who is also a lawyer, worked together in building the new distillery.

Everything is done in the factory including the distillation process, labeling the bottles, and more.

Sweet Crude can't be found in stores just yet, but the two men are looking for distribution to get their product out.

They hope to have it in stores by the end of the summer.
