Louisiana voters decided to vote for Amendment One on the ballot which requires more education for the Registrar of voters with 73 percent of voters saying they want that to happen.

Voters denied higher education the autonomy to raise their own tuition, with 57 percent of voters saying "no" to that amendment.

When it came to eliminating the deduction of federal income taxes, voters said "no" with 56 percent of the vote on Amendment 3.

Amendment number 4 received 72 percent of the vote that will allow the surviving spouse of fallen military person or law enforcement official to have their home taxes exempted.

The Revenue Stabilization Trust Fund, Amendment number 5 was approved with 54 percent of the vote while 58 percent of voters said "no" to Amendment number 6 to use funds to eliminate projected deficits.
