White Shrimp Counts Are Much Lower Than Expected

Louisiana shrimpers are reporting lower numbers for white shrimp this current season. The president of the Louisiana Shrimp Association Clint Guidry says after visiting production sites, it's been a lean season. Early speculation is that the BP oil spill is to blame. Early estimates show that this years harvest could be as much as 80% off.
