LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — The World Health Organization is meeting to discuss West Africa's Ebola outbreak, which is blamed on at least 932 deaths and more than 1,700 infections.

Declaring Ebola an international public health emergency would likely come with recommendations on travel and trade restrictions and wider Ebola screening.

The swine flu prompted a WHO emergency declaration in 2009.
