Wife Of Lafayette Councilman Keith Patin Passes Away

KPEL News has confirmed that the wife of Lafayette City Parish Councilman Keith Patin died from what Lafayette Police are calling a "medically unattended death incident."

Cpl. Kyle Soriez with Lafayette Police says foul play is not suspected in Lou King Patin's death.

Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel and CAO Dee Stanley issued a statement Friday morning in the wake of Lou Patin's death.

Keith is a dear friend and colleague. We are praying for him and for his family in this time of their loss.

Lou King Patin leaves behind her husband and their son, Hunter, along with a whole host of family and friends.

Miss Lou ran King Patin, a staffing agency, for years helping people from all over the community secure jobs.

Funeral arrangements and other information are pending at this time.
