In this week's Wingin' It Wednesday installment panelists Carol Ross and Warren Caudle touch upon a wide spectrum of topics in national, state and local politics.

Neither Ross, nor Caudle, said they were surprised at the outcome of Tuesday's primary elections in New York as both the Republican and Democratic winners call New York their home state.

On the Republican side, Trump trounced his opponents with 60 percent of the vote. Kasich earned 25 percent; Crux lagged behind with 14 percent. Trump earned all of the state's 89 Republican delegates.

Hillary Clinton claimed 139 delegates in her 16-point defeat of Bernie Sanders.

Both panelists said they were torn over the issue of one Acadiana High School student opting not to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Though they both said they were unhappy with the student's decision, they agreed the teen's First Amendment rights are being protected as law states no one is required to recite the pledge.
