Today on ‘Mornings With Ken & Bernie‘ our Winging It Wednesday panelists had vastly differing opinions on “Fast and Furious”, Attorney General Eric Holder and his possible Contempt of Congress citation as well as the Supreme Court’s decision on Arizona’s immigration law.

According to Mike Stagg,

“This ‘Fast and Furious’ thing goes back to a wild conspiracy theory concocted by a right-wing blogger Wayne Lapierre of the NRA.  The whole theory that this was a whole plan concocted to justify the Obama Administration taking away your gun rights.”  Stagg went on to say, “This is political foolery and using the power of Congress to do it”.

Carol Ross said,

“How about using the power of the Justice Department and the Presidency to obstruct justice.  Not only should Eric Holder be held in contempt of Congress he should be impeached.”

Topics covered today included:

  • 1.  Attorney General Eric Holder may be found in Contempt of Congress.  What of it?
  • 2.   What do you think of the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Arizona immigration law?
  • 3. Ex-LPTA (Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority) chair Greg Gachassin hit with ethics violations.
