Winning Powerball Ticket In California
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Lottery officials say a winning ticket sold in California has won Wednesday's $225 million Powerball drawing.
The top price for Saturday's drawing will be $40 million.
There were no big winner in the Louisiana Lotto or Easy 5 drawings.
Lotto players matching all six numbers drawn would have won or shared a $1.5 million prize. The prize will rise to an estimated $1.55 million for the next drawing, on Saturday.
Also, the lottery says, no one won the $50,000 Easy 5 jackpot. Saturday's drawing will be worth $60,000.
