Woman Arrested After Damaging A Car In Scott

Scott Police were called out to a home in the 600 block of Delhomme Avenue early Saturday morning after a man called to complain that his child's mother damaged his car.

The victim told police that Diarrell Richmond was at his home beating on his door, but he did not answer.  The man says at that point Richmond got a tool out of her trunk and began damaging his car.

The man says the woman punctured two of his tires, and scratched profanities into the driver's door.

Scott Police officers went to Richmond's home to interview her.  They read her the Miranda warnings, and then police say she admitted to all the damages to the victim's car.

Richmond was arrested for simple criminal damage to property.
