Scott Police officers were called out to Cowboys Nightclub after closing time early Sunday morning after two traffic crashes were reported in the parking lot.

Investigators determined that 21-year-old Kayla Ames caused both crashes.

Officers say Ames smelled of alcohol, she told officers she had been drinking, and the woman was slurring her words.

Police say Ames, who consented to a Field Sobriety Test, performed poorly during the test.  She was placed under arrest.

Police says she struggled with officers as they were putting her into the patrol car, and once she was inside the cop car, she started kicking one of the car's window.

Ames consented to breathalyzer test, and she blew a .178 on the breathalyzer test.

She was booked on the following charges:

  • Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense)
  • Reckless Operation
  • Resisting an Officer
  • Attempted Simple Criminal Damage to Property
