Woman Dead After Jumping Out Of Moving Car

A woman is dead after she jumped out the back seat of a moving car Tuesday afternoon.

Corporal Paul Mouton with Lafayette Police says they’re not sure why the woman jumped out the car on Ambassador Caffery Parkway. He says she died when she hit the ground.

Two other people were in the car, Mouton says.

No other details are known at this time, but we will bring the latest information as it becomes available.
