SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says a San Antonio woman has been extradited from Texas to face charges in connection with a contract killing.

A news release from Sheriff Steve Prator said 56-year-old Linda Kate Passaniti was booked into the Caddo Parish Correctional Center Thursday morning.

Passaniti was indicted in March on charges of second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second degree-murder, and three counts of forgery.

The victim in the case was Ernest Luttrell, who was shot to death in his Keithville home in 2010. Passaniti is the daughter of the victim's wife, Loretta Luttrell, who also has been charged in the case. Two others are serving life sentences after pleading guilty in the case.
