UPDATE: Freda Stear Garrison has been found safe and "tired" according to the facebook page her family and friends set up in the search for her.

According to our news partners at KATC, she was found near the corner of Ambasssador Caffery and West. Congress in Lafayette. The family thanks everyone who helped look for her.

Freda Stear Garrison has been missing since 1:05 p.m. Tuesday after she left her home in New Iberia for a 1:30 p.m. appointment in Lafayette.

Garrison never arrived to the appointment. Her cell phone is off and the last ping was at the corner of Highway 182 and 92 in Broussard at the St. Martinville exit right off Highway 90.

Garrison is 5'5" 150 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She drives a black 2012 Nisson Murano with a Saints License Plate #WFP498 and a Wounded Warrior sticker on the side.

Family and friends of Garrison have set up a facebook page for her.
