JENNINGS, La. (AP) — A Jennings woman convicted of negligent homicide in the fatal shooting of a Welsh man has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Twenty-seven-year-old Rosalyn Faith Breaux was found guilty in January in the June 6 death of 33-year-old Jeremy Ardoin.

The American Press reports state Judge Steve Gunnell sentenced Breaux on Monday.

Breaux has been in jail since her arrest.
