Lorrie Anderson, 49, of Lafayette, was indicted last year on charges of child rape, sex trafficking, and other sex crimes. On Monday, Anderson entered a plea of no contest and received what eventually amounted to a 5 year sentence.

15th Judicial District Judge Glennon Everette sentenced Anderson to 10 years without parole for the sex trafficking charge, then immediately suspended 5 years of the sentence. Everette also sentenced Anderson to 5 years for the molestation charge to be served at the same time as the sex trafficking charge.

Anderson was charged with sex with children, raping children, and prostituting children to clients.
