Update: Lafayette Police are trying to figure out the identity of a Person of Interest in the robbery at Yogurtland in Lafayette over the weekend.

Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton says employees told officers the suspect, described as a black male wearing a traffic vest, dark pants, work boots and a bandana over his face, went into the store armed with a pistol after turning off the store's power. He then stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The Person of Interest, a black male of whom you can see a picture of on kpel 96-5.com, was seen entering a white Toyota 4-Runner driven by a second unknown black male just minutes before the robbery. Investigators believe he may have valuable information about the robbery.

Call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 337-232-TIPS if you have any information about the man's identity.

In a weekend that's already seen at least three robberies (two home break-ins and a business break-in), the latest happened to Yogurtland on 104 E. Kaliste Saloom Road on Saturday before noon.
