You Can Help Save Lives This Christmas Season By Giving Blood

United Blood Services "10 Days of Givings" gets underway today.  Mitzi Breaux and Jason Conner of UBS (United Blood Services) joined 'Mornings with Ken and Bernie' today to invite listeners to help save lives while possibly winning some great prizes.  Conner said,

The Days of Giving run through December 28th and donors will each receive a free "Keep Calm and Save Lives" tee-shirt and be eligible for prizes that include the winners choice of an Apple iPad or a $500 VISA gift card.

Breaux said,

Healthy individuals over the age of 16 who weigh at least 110 pounds are permitted to donate blood.  Blood donations are accepted at United Blood Services at 1503 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette during regular business hours and at various locations throughout Acadiana.
