Youngsville Man Fires Shots In Charenton Home
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Department arrested a Youngsville man Sunday morning on a variety of charges after the man admitted to firing a shotgun in a Charenton home.
Deputies arrested 45-year-old Alvin Trosclair after he told them he had taken illegal drugs, and fired several shots from a small caliber rifle and a shotgun.
Trosclair was taken to a local hospital then booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail.
Trosclair was arrested on the following charges:
- Aggravated criminal damage to property
- Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities
- Possession of a firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies
No bail has been set yet in the case.
