Youngsville Police Make Arrest In Auto, Home Burglary Investigation

A Youngsville man arrested for admittedly burglarizing vehicles in Lafayette and Youngsville could be facing more charges pending a continuing investigation into a string of thefts.

Youngsville police arrested 20-year-old Trevor Ardoin on three counts of vehicle burglary and theft, Police Chief Rickey Boudreaux told our news partner KATC.

Youngsville Police had been investigating a string of vehicle and home burglaries for the past few weeks.The suspect was captured on video by one victim which led police to Ardoin, who admitted to that crime as well as others that he committed.

Ardoin was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
