Out of a little more than 14-hundred votes that were cast, Youngsville voters decided to give the go ahead to a one cent sales tax in their community to fund a Sports Complex. 

56 percent of the voters decided to give the nod to the increase sales tax.  A community coalition has a plan for the park, the land has been donated, and Youngsville Mayor Wilson Viator told KPEL that if all goes as planned the Sports Complex could open as soon as the end of 2013.
