Did you know you had to signal your intent to make a turn at least 100 feet before the turn? Did you know you could be pulled over by a police officer for failing to do that?

State Police Trooper Stephen Hammons, who joined "Nathan & Bernie in the Morning" on "Ask the Trooper," said failing to use that turn signal is a ticketable primary offense.

"A lot of times people say, 'Well I never see anyone pulled over for that.,'" Hammons said. "Well, you never know why a person is actually pulled over...but you'd be surprised the number of people who actually get pulled over for not using a turn signal."

Oh, and if you forget to turn your signal off, you can be pulled over for that, too.
