$10,000 Winner Sold in Louisiana for Mardi Gras Mega Millions

Players who like to take a chance on fame and fortune by playing the big money multi-state lottery games have been doing quite well for themselves in Louisiana over the past week. This past Friday a $40,000 winning ticket for the Mega Millions game was sold in Convent. In last night's drawing of the Mega Millions game, there was yet another big-money winning ticket sold in Louisiana.

Granted, the ticket did not match the necessary numbers to claim the game's top prize but still, $10,000 is a lot nicer to get on Mardi Gras than a handfull of tangled up beads. The ticket in question matched four of the white ball numbers. It also had the correct choice made for the Mega Ball.

The numbers drawn in the February 25, 2020 version of the Mega Millions game were:

As we mentioned no ticket matched all of the required numbers to claim the Mega Millions top prize. So, that jackpot will continue to grow to an estimated $60 million for Friday night's next drawing.

The winning Louisiana ticket was sold in Bogalusa. The ticket was purchased at the Exxon Time Saver Store located on Highway 21. The holder of that ticket needs to sign the back of it for their own protection and safety. They will need to contact the nearest Louisiana Lottery office for details on collecting their prize.
