2 Suspects Arrested In DeRidder Bank Robbery
DERIDDER, La. (AP) — Two suspects in a bank robbery in DeRidder have been arrested in Texas.
DeRidder Police Chief John Gott told KPLC-TV (http://bit.ly/UKQ1fX ) on Friday that 30-year-old Joseph Sariah and 34-year-old Larry Williams Jr., both of Beaumont, Texas, were arrested in their hometown.
Police also were seeking three other suspects in Tuesday's robbery of a Barksdale Federal Credit Union branch.
Police said four men entered the bank armed with handguns and wearing masks and stole an unspecified amount of money.
A suspect struck a clerk who didn't need medical treatment. Nobody else was injured.
