4th Suspect Arrested In Double Homicide
MONROE, La. (AP) — Monroe police arrested a fourth suspect in connection with a double homicide.
The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/M8Ygvh ) Amechea Charleston was booked Tuesday with armed robbery and two counts of second-degree murder.
On Monday, Willie Lockridge Jr. was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery.
The victims in last weekend's double homicide were identified as Ross Watters and Pierre Boyette.
Their bodies were reportedly found at 7:33 p.m. Saturday.
Police, who identified Lockridge as the alleged shooter, said the deaths were drug-related.
Gregory Payne was booked with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and Latara Williams was booked with armed robbery, two counts of second-degree murder and conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. Both men were arrested Sunday.
It's not clear whether the suspects have attorneys.
