900 At OWI Checkpoint

More than 900-vehicles passed through a roadblock set up to check for impaired drivers over the weekend in Lafayette.  Police say seven people were arrested for OWI.  They ranged in age from 18 to 57.  A total of 35 citations were issued for various violations.  In addition, 20-year-old Tory Phillips was charged with  Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
