Abbeville Police Working Scam Involving Fraudulent Use Of Disability Industry

There's a scam going around Abbeville right now in which the criminals are trying to use disability to try to steal money from citizens.

Lt. David Hardy with Abbeville Police says citizens are getting phone calls from different 337 numbers claiming they are following up on application for disability payments and asking for personal and banking information.

"Do not release any personal or banking information to anyone you do not know," advises Hardy.
