UL Baseball faced LSU Tuesday night in the Wally Pontiff Jr. Classic. The Cajuns came up short in Baton Rouge losing to the Tigers 4-8

Recently Jones gave back to the New Orleans community. Jones participated in a virtual reading time out with 50 kids from both Ridge Elementary and Live Oak Elementary. The purpose of this was to promote the importance of literacy and comprehension. But on top of that, the kids got to read with one of the Pelicans.

UL Softball coming off of Easter was on fire today against Saint Louis. The Cajuns beat Saint Louis 19-0. There was no beating the Cajuns Monday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in to head to the NBA Playoffs. The Pelicans won 105-101, in what was a barn-burner of a match. However, the game was in peril as the Pelicans were down 10 going into the 4th quarter. Head Coach Willie Green then gave the speech of a lifetime, the players responded, and the team got the victory!

After coming off of a great performance last weekend against Troy, the UL Softball team was headed to Alabama. UL started their weekend series against South Alabama. The Cajuns beat the Jaguars 10-6 to start the weekend.

This has to be one of the strangest things I've ever witnessed watching sports. It was just odd. Not as outrageous as Antonio Brown stripping and leaving the game. No, it was just flat-out odd. A fan at the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers' play-in game glued their hand to the court under the basketball goal.

The UL Softball team played Troy for the final game of their weekend series. Going into the game the Cajuns had already won the series. So against Troy, they were looking to get the sweep. The Cajuns in fact did get the sweep and won 10-0!

UL Softball took on Troy again on Saturday after their win on Friday 7-1. They ended up winning again 7-1 to win the weekend series.

During the week Williamson's stepfather Lee Anderson did an interview with Jordy Culotta. Anderson not only discussed his thoughts on Zion in New Orleans but he also discussed his thoughts on Zion playing this season.

According to Variety, Seinfeld and Toy Story actress Estelle Harris passed away Saturday night at age 93. Harris died of natural causes.

LSU basketball has gone through a whirlwind. Even though they just hired Matt McMahon LSU is experiencing a bunch of players leaving to the transfer portal. And the latest player to enter the portal is Shareef O'Neal.

UL Softball came out this weekend on a mission. The Cajuns faced UT Arlington for another weekend Sun Belt series. The Cajuns dominated as they won all three games via the mercy rule. They won game 1 9-1, game 2 10-0, and game 3 10-0.

Jaxson Hayes of the New Orleans Pelicans has been accused of physical abuse. According to TMZ Sports Sofia Jamora, Jaxson's ex-girlfriend has accused him of physical abuse to her and their puppy.

When it comes to the New Orleans Pelicans, many fans have always wanted the team to embrace the state more. What I mean is, play more Louisiana artists during the game. Play state-related games and challenges during the timeouts. And include dance challenges with actual dances from the state. Well, the Pelicans have begun doing that. Smoothie King Center and the Pelicans have added a griddy cam for fans to share their best griddy during the game.

After the debacle that was Will Wade's tenure at LSU, Athletic Director Scott Woodward had another coaching search on his hands. Enter Murray State's, Matt McMahon. After Murray State's exit from the tournament Woodward was swift as LSU hired the former Murray State coach.

UL Softball has another weekend of Sun Belt play. This weekend they took on the Georgia Southern Eagles. The first game was moved to Saturday due to inclement weather, so Saturday they played a doubleheader where they won the first game and lost the second. Well, Sunday they faced the Eagles again to end the weekend series and the Cajuns came out and dominated. The Cajuns won via the run-rule 12-1!

UL Softball was coming off of a win against Georgia State to start Sun Belt play. They faced the Texas Longhorns Wednesday in a doubleheader. The Cajuns lost both games, the first 10-2 and the second 3-2.
