The office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control is expected to lay off six people including three high level positions to save money.  One of the positions is the ATC Deputy Commissioner who has a one hundred and fifteen thousand dollar annual salary.  The ATC is facing a four-hundred thousand dollar budget shortfall.  Commissioner Troy Hebert says the belt tightening "shows commitment to do what is right for Louisiana."   The positions have been officially submitted to the office of Civil Service for approval.
