BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police have arrested a Mandeville man accused of shoving a man to the ground during house party, leading to the man's death after his head struck concrete.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs tells The Advocate 26-year-old Jeryet Bourg was booked into Parish Prison on one count of manslaughter in the death of 36-year-old Christopher Dimattia.

Stubbs says the two men got into a fight around 3 a.m. Sunday. He says Bourg allegedly shoved Dimattia, who fell and hit his head on the concrete

Stubbs says an autopsy performed on Dimattia showed he died from skull fractures and trauma to the head.

It's not clear whether Bourg has an attorney.
