Battery Suspect Arrested

The woman accused of hitting another woman with a car during an argument Tuesday in the 200 block of Rubria has been arrested. Lafayette Police brought Brook Justine Quarles in for questioning shortly after the incident, and now she's being charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery. The cause of the disturbance remains under investigation.  The victim remains hospitalized with moderate injuries.
