Black Friday Deals Aren’t So Great This Year

Many of this year‘s Black Friday deals aren’t great deals at all. WalletHub reports, nearly one in five of this year‘s Black Friday deals is recycled from last year. In some cases, the prices are higher. Some chains are better than others.

The worst offenders are Harbor freight, Office Depot and OfficeMax, Ace Hardware, Sears and JCPenney. The ones with the fewest retreads are Costco, Fred Meyer, Dell, Lenovo, and Best Buy.

The retreads at True Value are 8.5% higher than last year, Office Depot 7.3%, Staples 6%. Retreads at Costco are down 14.4% from last year. Best Buy, 8.7% Dell, 5.6%. Click here for a breakdown.
