Body Found Behind Lafayette Walmart

A dead body is found in a field behind Walmart on the Evangeline Thruway. Lafayette Police say it was found by people cutting across the field overgrown with grass. Investigators say it appears the body had been there for sometime. Authorities are performing an autopsy. The case remains under investigation.
