Boyfriend Confesses To Killing Girlfriend

An arrest has been made in the case of the woman whose body was discovered in a ditch just outside of Terrebonne Parish. Sheriff Vernon Bourgeois says the woman has been identified as 42-year-old Sherry Gautreaux of Raceland. Bourgeois says Gautreaux's boyfriend, 58-year-old Darryl Ansardi of Schriever, admitted to killing her in late February and dumping the body where it was found. Bourgeois says the matter is still under investigation.
