As you can see, LSU Tiger fans won't really get interested in the action until late tomorrow night when South Carolina and Ole Miss meet in the 9 pm game. The LSU Tigers will face the winner of that game on Friday night in the 9 pm contest.
On Tuesday it was announced that three LSU players, Cameron Thomas, Javonte Smart, Trendon Watford were placed on the All-SEC teams by members of the Associated Press and the SEC coaches. Thomas, a freshman was named a first-team All-SEC member as well as being selected to be a part of the SEC-All Freshman team.
The Tigers enter tournament play with an overall record of 16 wins against 8 losses. LSU finished the conference schedule with a record of 11 wins against 6 losses.
Many pundits have the Tigers moving from the SEC Tournament into the NCAA Men's Tournament next week as high as a number eight seed and as low as a number ten seed. How the Tigers play in Nashville will go a long way in determining just where they are seeded for that tournament.
