BREAKING: Donald Trump Found Guilty in New York Campaign Finance Trial
MANHATTAN, New York (KPEL News) - After a whirlwind, dramatic case involving a former U.S. president, a jury has found that Donald Trump is guilty of campaign finance violations.
The verdict came after two days of deliberation by the jury after weeks of drama and scandal filled the Manhattan courthouse while the country watched on.
The jury of seven men and five women found the former president guilty on all 34 charges. He will be sentenced on July 11, the judge in the case said.
The 34-count indictment against Trump was the first indictment against a former U.S. president in history. Trump is the GOP nominee for president this year, complicating the case and potentially impacting the race.
