BAGHDAD (AP) — At least 28 people have been killed in a wave of car bombings across Baghdad today.

The attacks come as Iraqi Shiites celebrate the birthday of their most sacred martyr.

Two attacks were in Sadr City and one targeted a commercial street in Baghdad's eastern district of Jamila.

There were several other attacks throughout the city.
