Cartoon Actor Leads Parade

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) — Scott Innes, known for voicing cartoon characters Scooby Doo, Shaggy and Scrappy Doo, is the grand marshal for today's Denham Springs Christmas parade.

The parade starts at 2 p.m.

The Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/TC0WZr) that In honor of Innes, the parade's theme is "A Cartoon Christmas."

Innes will drive the Mystery Machine — the van used by characters in the Scooby Doo series — in the parade.
