NEW ORLEANS — Archbishop Gregory Aymond has asked the top three officials in charge of 69 archdiocesan elementary and high schools to resign. Amyond said that the Rev. Neal McDermott, the Dominican priest in charge of the Department of Christian Formation, will take another job in the archdiocese while Catholic Schools Superintendent Sister Kathleen Finnerty and Deputy Superintendent Judy Mulla will leave the system at the end of the school year.
